inItaly - l’eccellenza con l’anima - was born as the result of a passion: the Italian Culinary Art which is envied by the rest of the world. An Art that is increasingly copied by those who speak only the language of money, and are unconcerned about the potential loss of hundreds of years of culture.
We decided to show and promote awareness of one of ourgreatest traditions, the true pride and joy of our beloved homeland.
We decided to work together with the craftsmen who dedicate their lives to the production of outstanding products: Italian traditional products that can meet selected ingredients from cultures different and far from ours.
We decided to share our knowledge.

Travelling across Italy, we sought the products that makeevery single town unique. Gastronomic creations that do not simply adhere to stereotypes.
We made our choice from a wide selection, using the instinct that comes through years of experience identifying special and unique products: products that have all the qualities of a masterpiece.
As a result of our quest we came across production lines that were scant and limited, yet of excellent quality, distinctive for the passion, heart and soul poured into them by their producers.
And as of now, also by ours.

The Producers Associations, Cooperatives, and Slow Food Committees have served as a guarantee in this project to rediscover and promote the authentic Italian Cuisine. The products we propose are not labelled as typical just because of their production in a specific geographical location. It is the fact that these are part of the daily lives of local people to make them such. All our efforts are aimed at celebrating the variety of traditions and culture that Italy has to offer.
We have favoured those products that reflect the skills and ability of the producers and the experience, at times going back centuries, that we faced in full respect of nature and environment.
Products that go beyond conventional standard taste.

inItaly aims to sharpen the taste buds and improve nutrition by promoting Italy’s various cultural identities whilst bringing the customer closer to the world of production, highlighting the skilfulness and virtuosity of such hardworking producers.
We want to promote and spread the meaning and the value of culinary pleasure.

For all of these reasons, we decided to turn our passion into a job and begin a journey together with you, based on changing tastes, rediscovering the new dusting down the old.
A journey to rediscover the pure essence of contrast, of authenticity of local origins of food, of the undoubted creativity of tradition: to those emotions that only certain products can create.

All this means working for the sustainability of food productions. For us it is essential that no harm is done to the land by food manufacturing practices. Consumption must also protect ecosystems, safeguarding both the health of the consumer and the producer. In this ever more impatient, frenetic and global culinary environment, where true flavour is increasingly hard to come by, we are conscious that the real problem is the relationship among the food producers, distributors and consumers.
We are also aware that, running along with them, we can contribute to its solution.
